Not just a new model to launch, but also a new stand at this years Sydney Motor Show for Mitsubishi. The stand had a clean, modern look and was dominated with the new 380.
With two levels, a total of 18 vehicles were positioned over the stand, but amazingly, due to the stands design, a spacious feel was created.
Using Resolution X skills in lighting design, a fully controllable environment was created to tailor light levels for each car and bring a theatre environment to change the stand for the press launches. This ensured the car's colours were not washed out or too glary and helped create an atmosphere on the stand.
Lighting the stand was a conventional rig made up of 84 X Par 64, 24 x New 600W (HO) MultiPar, 20 x 400W Pierlite Metal Halides and 4 x Molefay Duet with the Intelligent side - 8 x Clay Paky Stage 1200 Zooms and 4 x Clay Paky Stage Color 300. Control was through LSC's Maxim MP and LSC e24 dimmer's. A 30 metre tab track opening with white chiffon drapes was also used for the reveal of the new stand and a further 20 metres of white chiffon to cover the side. |
