To mark this momentous occasion, Channel 7 telecast a live production from Star City's Show Room in Sydney, to celebrate 50 years of Television broadcast in Australia.

Resolution X worked with Lighting Directors Frank Racina and Paul Lewis to supply a rig of over 110 moving lights. The moving lights consisted of Clay Paky Stage Color 300, Martin MAC 700 profiles, MAC 2000 Wash, Vari*Lite VL2000 Spots and VL2000 Washes. Pulsar Chroma banks and 54 Chroma Strip2 were also incorporated into the set which was designed by Peter Disney.

To control the large rig, two MA Lighting grandMA consoles and a Jands Hog 1K were used to give operators Paul Collison and Paul Lewis complete flexibility with Andy Edis running his Catalyst system.

Working tirelessly in the back ground, Richard Grenfell - Lighting Production Manager, Cliff Bothwell and Tim Allder - Lighting Systems Technicians, brought the system together to make Franks design a reality.

Truss and rigging was supplied and crewed by none other than Show Tech Australia, headed up by Tim 'Tiny' Good. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Chameleon Touring systems for their support.
