Resolution X also offers lighting and presentation equipment through our professional hire service with 24 hour support. We are able to supply complete presentation solutions, and specialise in lighting technologies. Further to this we offer concept development, lighting design, project management, installation, operation and removal.

Managing Director, Tim Hall
Having worked in the lighting and production industry for over ten years, Tim Hall founded Resolution X Pty Ltd in 1998 as an affiliated company with Lightmoves, a prominent lighting supply and installation company. Tim has a strong reputation for excellence and precision in lighting design and project management, proven by the high calibre of his clients. These attributes are of particular value in the areas of corporate theatre and architectural lighting, where efficient and effective operational performance and innovative ideas set Resolution X apart from other lighting companies.

Technical Services Manager, David Wright
David has worked closely with Tim for many years, joining Resolution X soon after it was it was founded in 1998. David has a great deal of experience and expertise in all areas of lighting technology. He manages the team responsible for the manufacturing and maintenance of Resolution X's equipment resources ensuring reliability and consistency on-site.

Production Services Manager, Russell Brebner
Another founding member of the company, Russell manages hire and production operations. He manages the teams on site, overseeing the production and delivering the client's vision. Russell also brings manufacturing expertise to Resolution X ranging from road cases through to sets and displays. His experience in theatrical, architectural lighting and permanent installations is a valuable resource for Resolution X.

Operations Manager, Mark Chambers
Mark is responsible for the day to day running of our busy warehouse and fleet of delivery vehicles. He has been involved with the lighting industry for the last 5 years working for a number of notable lighting companies around the country. He completed a Certificate III in Theatre & Events Lighting back in 2003, which gained him more recognition in the industry. With Mark's experiences and strong background in warehousing and logistics, he helps maintain our high standards of service to our clients, by working effortlessly behind the scenes to ensure a smooth operation.

Hire Manager, Marcus Pugh
Marcus joined Resolution X when he moved to Melbourne from Brisbane in early 2003. Marcus earned a BA in Technical Production at QUT and worked with prominent Brisbane lighting companies for five years prior to his move to Melbourne. Since Marcus joining us in 2003 he was promoted to Hire Manager in 2006 and is a valuable part of the Resolution X team.

Senior Crew Chief, Nikitas Koumos
Niki brings unparalleled production experience to the team. In 1980, he had already clocked up over 300 tours and events alone. Having worked on some of the largest tours and events known to Australia, Niki has a reputation of excellence and precision throughout the industry. Importantly Niki is enjoying passing on his immense skills to other members of the ResX team.

Project Manager, Dean McFadden
Returning to Melbourne after a number years of international touring, Dean joined the team at Resolution X. Dean has a strong technical back ground in Electronics and many years of touring experience from pubs, to International concert and corporate touring.  Although his main passion is for lighting he has also worked as a Production Manager, Set Carpenter, Automation Technician, Audio engineer and Rigger. This experience gives him, a thorough understanding of all facets of your production, an eye for detail during the preparation stage, and the ability to highlight issues before they become a problem on site.

Project Manager, Andrew Arney
With a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Production, and with over ten years experience working in theatre, major events, film, and television, Andrew brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Resolution X. His multi-skills & abilities are used to the full managing projects out on site. Between projects Andrew can also be found assisting in our manufacturing department.

Moving Light Manager, Liz Beedle
A local Melbournian, Liz has spent many years on local and overseas projects gaining extensive experience in the lighting industry. She is responsible for the prep, maintenance and repair of our growing moving light department including consoles, led and effects. Every fixture is checked before each hire by Liz and her team.

The Royal Exhibition Buildings has proven to be a magnificent canvas for our automated lighting, where colours, images and creative design work brilliantly with the architecture.

One of Melbourne's landmarks, the Myer Music Bowl activated with light for the opening of the Melbourne International Festival of the Arts, the inaugural event for the recently refurbished Bowl.

An air of drama and excitement is evoked in this pre-function area through creative applications of lighting.
